Controller

As our Controller, you will be a key player in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Your Impact:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions across all regions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, conduct variance and cash risk analysis, and support strategic decision-making through actionable insights.
• Lead and mentor accounting staff in St. Louis and Colorado, conduct evaluations, and foster a high-performing team culture.
• Drive process automation, system enhancements, and integration of financial systems across regions, including newly acquired entities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on investment evaluations, cost-saving initiatives, and financial planning across all locations and departments.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in progressively responsible accounting roles, with at least 4 years in a managerial capacity.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven ability to guide, coach, develop, and motivate a team.
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Construction accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Viewpoint Vista.
