Electrical Design Intern

As our Electrical Design Intern, you will be helping out in a wide range of responsibilities from the project design and layout phase to the supervision of design installation on project sites.

Your Impact:

• Develop detailed electrical installation and construction documents (e.g., using Revit/Navisworks), and support project teams during the construction phase.
• Gather required inputs from other disciplines to maintain electrical design schedules and ensure coordination.
• Perform electrical system calculations and studies such as power distribution, lighting levels, short‑circuit, and conduit sizing.
• Review and check design outputs from the design team, converting contract documents into engineered construction drawings in collaboration with project managers.
• Provide technical support across teams: assist field personnel, estimators, clients; prepare conceptual designs, sketches, and value-engineering ideas; and handle other duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

• Must be a current student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or similar program of study.

• High level of organization.
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Must work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
• Can speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
