Electrical Estimator Intern

As our Electrical Estimator Intern, you will be a key player in provide direct support to our engineers, designers, and project managers

Your Impact:

• Gather and organize proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents to build a clear understanding of project scope and requirements
• Calculate labor, materials, and time needs by studying project documents and perform take-offs to determine accurate project costs
• Maintain and update estimating and design-build project data; collaborate with owners, developers, and architects to refine bid submissions.
• Attend meetings with architects and clients to resolve outstanding issues and ensure bid documents are accurate and coordinated
• Track design scope changes, assess their impacts on budget or schedule, and promptly communicate necessary adjustments to customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

• Must be a current student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or similar program of study

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• High level of organization.
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Must work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
• Can speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
