Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and ensure the CEO's schedule is prioritized to strategy and goals. Perform calendar analysis to understand how the CEO's time is being utilized and make recommendations based on findings.
- Work closely and effectively with management to keep them informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.
- Research, prioritize and follow-up on incoming emails, correspondence, issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determine appropriate action and response as needed.
- Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously, proactively and follow-through on projects to successful completion.
- Provide a bridge for communication between CEO and internal departments, demonstrating leadership to maintain creditability, trust and support with staff.
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for CEO including managing the CEO's calendar and email account, composing and preparing correspondence, arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and documents to travel-related purposes.
- Serve as a liaison between leadership teams and oversees special projects.
- Work closely with internal marketing team to plan and coordinate company events.
- Organize and maintain executive-level files, including highly confidential legal and financial records.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- 5+ years' experience in a professional environment providing high-level administrative support, or similar office support role
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work onsite at our St. Louis office with occasional travel
- Must have the ability to anticipate upcoming needs and decisions, exercising good judgment if a team member needs to be involved
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills, business and financial acumen, strong decision-making ability, and attention to detail
- Strong ability to utilize and understand technology and software to provide efficient support for meetings and other events
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise judgment to be able to analyze and investigate a variety of questions or problems
- Professional, positive attitude; responsive and dependable
