IT Support Specialist
As our IT Support Specialist, you will be a key player in managing help desk tickets, working them through our processes and procedures and escalating them to the appropriate technical expert if needed.
Your Impact:
- Triage and resolve Tier 1+ help desk tickets for the Central Region, with overflow support for the Western Region.
- Install and upgrade hardware/software; manage user access and application security.
- Perform deployment tasks, including desktop setups, user creation, Teams rooms, and mobile devices.
- Provide user support, training, and ensure understanding of software features.
- Maintain continuous customer support and coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and ongoing training.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
- 3 to 5 years experience in deployment and/or integration of IT solutions.
- Preferred experience working with business software in a construction environment.
- Ability to translate business needs into deployable software solutions.
- Technical or vocational school education.
Knowledge Skills, and Abilities
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to understand business needs and explain technical solutions clearly.
- Quick learner with a drive to become an expert and adapt rapidly to new software and technologies.
- Skilled in creating clear, actionable documentation and training materials.
- Proficient in O365; familiarity with tools like Dell laptops, iPhones/iPads, Viewpoint Vista/Field Time, Bluebeam, Dado, Microsoft Teams, and Fresh Service is a plus.
- Construction industry experience preferred; values humility, initiative, and team-oriented mindset.
