Preconstruction Director

As our Preconstruction Director, you will be a key player in coordinating all of the preconstruction activities, including estimating, budgeting, design collaboration, value engineering, and scheduling. You work closely with clients, project managers, and design teams to ensure cost-effective and constructible solutions.

Your Impact:

• Work closely with executives and business unit leaders to align market strategies and key personnel.
• Develop detailed project specific scopes of work and respond to customer requests.
• Review front end documents and work with the project team to respond to RFQ's and RFP's.
• Lead a team of estimators and provide detailed review of all costs and project documents to finalize proposals.
• Review all contracts to ensure estimate alignment and meet specifications.
• Attend business development functions and customer events.
• Evaluate bid opportunities and involve necessary teams to win work.
• Work closely with the operations teams to determine market strategies and key pursuits.
• Lead the turnover process with operations, engineering and purchasing on successful pursuits.
• Provide detailed cost analysis and value engineering as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years' experience in electrical contracting and preconstruction field.
