Prefabrication Manager

As our Prefabrication Manager, you will be a key player in overseeing early-stage project coordination, designing, building, and staging electrical assemblies off-site, optimizing workflows, managing inventory and shop teams, and ensuring timely, cost‑effective deliveries that adhere to safety and quality standards. 

Your Impact:

• This position gets involved early in projects, assists the PM & Foreman in constructability/best practices and designs/builds electrical assemblies, wiring systems, racks, special systems, and many other services for installation by the field.
• The purpose of the prefabrication manager is to provide efficient delivery systems, assemblies, and innovative solutions that make projects more efficient and cost effective.
• Assists project team by adhering to schedule deadlines, achieving financial targets, while maintaining established safety and quality standards.
• Get to know and identify with your customers the project teams & field personnel who work to make us successful.
• Act as liaison with project staff to identify and process scope changes, bottlenecks, and communicate regarding project milestones, etc.
• Maintain secured, clean, and organized storage areas and establish standards when necessary. Oversee coordinate and expediting of the flow of work and material according to Jobsite schedules. Assist with the design, development and improvement of inventory movement and storage systems.
• Interact in the submittal process with the PM & Purchasing department.
• Assist constructability team as needed with design when prefab needs are slow.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

• Associates or bachelor's degree in in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or related field. Or Equivalent experience in a similar role or within the Electrical Trade.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Prefabrication role or similar, with overseeing needs in relation to construction projects.
• Experience in the Electrical Contracting, Construction or Electrical manufacturing industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, Revit, Bluebeam, and/or Navisworks.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical and construction processes including electrical codes such as the National Electrical Code.
• Ability to see how their department's work supports the organization as a whole.
• Knowledge of BIM quality procedures, overall processes and application in the AEC industry.
