Project Facilitator

This position will be responsible for receiving quotes on major materials, identifying supplier partners for day-to-day materials, breaking out Accubid electrical estimates into labor reporting work categories, and developing project schedules with corresponding workforce graphs. The position will assist with the buyout of materials for awarded projects and provide the assigned project director with the core information to manage the project.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Precon managers during the time of pursuit to identify materials & equipment synergies and buying potential.
  • Work with the estimators, Precon managers and project managers to effectively procure the commodities and equipment for awarded projects.
  • Focus on the potential multi-project purchases across the company for on commodities and equipment.
  • Mitigate escalation and excessive lead-times.
  • Work with the estimator and PM on workforce labor curves for the duration of the construction schedules.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with our supplier partners.
  • Perform labor reporting breakouts of hours and sort codes.
  • Other duties as assigned by employer.

Skills

  • Knowledge of Accubid, Labor Chart, Viewpoint and Remarcable experience a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment and union labor workforce

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Systems Design or related field. OR equivalent years of experience.
  • Previous experience in Project Management within the AEC industry.
  • Understanding if electrical supply purchasing process
