Senior Electrical Designer

As our Senior Electrical Designer, you will be a key player in providing support to construction managers and field leadership through the preparation of BIM models of new and existing electrical systems. Using various software such as REVIT, each model must by electrically accurate to ensure efficient execution and installation in the field.

Your Impact:

• Create detailed 3D models of electrical systems using Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Trimble, and related software
• Develop and revise electrical drawings based on specifications, sketches, and measurements
• Coordinate with design professionals to identify and resolve design issues, minimizing construction errors
• Support drawing reproduction, file management, and documentation distribution
• Assist project managers with software tools and project documentation
• Conduct occasional site visits to support drawing application and ensure design accuracy
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's or associate degree related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in an electrical designer role.
• Fluency in software - Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks
• Fluency in reading 2D plans, electronically or hard copy
• Fluency in importing documents, such as spreadsheets, photos, images and word processing files

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge and experience of performing and/or observing electrical construction
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)

• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with the Electrical Design team and other employees.

The base salary range is from $70,000 to $90,000 per year and is commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Employees are also eligible for annual discretionary bonuses.
