Responsibilities

  • Create marketing & sales plan to support year over year growth of Guarantee's solar division.
  • Prospecting and lead generation through marketing outreach, calling campaigns, conference attendance, in-person meetings, and other creative outreach ideas.
  • Educate potential customers on solar and arranging for initial customer meetings and proposal presentations.
  • Identify qualified customers by understanding the market, available incentives, and other considerations.
  • Analysis of customer's current and projected electrical usage and financial return on investment.
  • Financial modeling of potential opportunities.
  • Log all communications in Salesforce and run reports to measure activity.
  • Assist in developing Guarantee's proposal generator for new solar projects.
  • Work closely with members of team and stay current on market trends, including financing requirements and project costs.
  • Other duties as assigned by employer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven track record in sales including developing and meeting targets.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the solar industry developing commercial, industrial, and/or distributed generation projects.
  • Excellent understanding of financial metrics required in solar sales, including current federal/state/local incentives.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Helioscope.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Experience using Salesforce preferred.
