Solar Sales Intern

At Guarantee Electrical Company, we love providing students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience through our internship program. We are currently seeking a Solar Sales Intern to join our St. Louis, MO, energy solutions team and provide direct support to our Business Development Manager and project managers. As an intern, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, from generating leads and solar design to assisting in client sales meetings, as defined in the primary job duties section below.

Responsibilities:

• Business Development, using social selling and sales enablement tools to generate leads through email, cold calling, and site visits to build a pipeline of solar leads.
• Build solar layouts using solar system design software.
• Develop solar proposals to offer local and national incentives.
• Research for new partner channel opportunities
• Works with project managers to help in the administrative aspect of solar installation.
• Provide support to project managers, field personnel, estimators, and customers. 
• Organize client data to add to Business Development efforts.
• Helped set up and work outreach events.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• High level of organization.
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Must work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
• Can speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.

Education:

• Must be a current student pursuing a degree.
